Samsung has introduced its 2024 lineup of monitors in India. The new lineup includes models from the Odyssey OLED gaming series, the Smart Monitor M series, and the ViewFinity series. The 2024 lineup comes with advanced features and AI capabilities for enhanced entertainment and productivity.
Samsung 2024 monitors lineup: price, availability
- All Samsung monitors listed below will be available for purchase on the Samsung e-store starting 5th June 2024. Customers can also buy the monitors from Amazon, Flipkart, and all leading retail stores.
- The Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 has a starting price of Rs 92,399, the Smart Monitor M-series starts at Rs 15,399, and the ViewFinity series monitors have a starting price of Rs 21,449.
- The Odyssey OLED G6 and Smart Monitor series will be available with no-cost EMI and an instant cart discount of up to Rs 2,750 on the Samsung e-store from 5th June to 11th June.
- Customers purchasing the Smart Monitor M8 will receive a Samsung Sound Bar, while those buying the OLED G6 will get Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Customers can also enjoy discounts of up to Rs 11,100 on Amazon and Flipkart.
Samsung Odyssey OLED series: features
The Odyssey OLED G6 gaming monitor features a 27-inch OLED display with a QHD (2560 x 1440p) resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 360Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms GTG (Grey to Grey) response time. The display has a peak brightness level of 250nits and comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support to reduce screen tearing and lag.
The monitor’s design includes a slim metal frame, Core Lighting+, and an ergonomic stand with adjustable height, tilt, and swivel. The monitor features a Dynamic Cooling system to prevent OLED burn-in and OLED glare-free technology to improve colours and minimise reflections.
Samsung Smart Monitor M series: features
The updated Smart Monitor M series 2024 lineup includes the M8 (M80D), M7 (M70D) and M5 (M50D). The M8 monitor features a 32-inch panel with 4K resolution and the NQM AI processor, which upscales resolution to near 4K resolution using AI. It also comes with an Active Voice Amplifier Pro, which delivers clearer dialogue by reducing background noise. The monitor has 400nits of brightness and offers HDR10+ support for enhanced visuals.
The M7 monitor comes in two display sizes, 43-inch and 32-inch panels, both with a 4K resolution, 300nits of brightness, and 4ms GTG response time. The M5 monitor is available in 27-inch and 32-inch display sizes with a Full HD resolution, 250nits of brightness, and 4ms GTG response time.
Samsung ViewFinity series: features
The latest ViewFinity lineup includes the ViewFinity S8 (S80UD and S80D), the ViewFinity S7 (S70D), and the ViewFinity S6 (S60UD and S60D). The monitors are designed for creators and professionals. The ViewFinity S8 is available in 27-inch and 32-inch display sizes with 4K resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and 350nits brightness. The models include a USB hub, height-adjustable stand, KVM switch, and USB-C port (with up to 90W charging support).
The S7 also comes in 27-inch and 32-inch display sizes, with a 4K resolution, 350nits of brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The S6 series comes in 24-inch, 27-inch, and 32-inch display sizes with a QHD resolution, a 100Hz refresh rate, 350 nits brightness, a USB hub, a height-adjustable stand, a KVM switch, and a USB-C port (with up to 90W charging support). All ViewFinity monitors come with HDR10 support and TUF Rheinland Eye-Care features.
